Roswell Cultural Arts Center Announces 2017 Summer Puppet Lineup

Roswell’s Summer Puppet Series will once again return to the Cultural Arts Center stage this June and July, featuring a lineup of award-winning puppeteers from Georgia and around the country. Tickets will go on sale April 3.

The 2017 Series will include the following productions:
• June 5–10: Rumpelstiltzkin
Presented by Frisch Marionettes
• June 12–17: The Comical Adventures of Old Mother Hubbard
Presented by Mesner Puppet Theater
• June 19–24: The Fairy Circus
Presented by Tanglewood Marionettes
• June 26–July 1: Robin Hood
Presented by Puppet Showplace Theater
• July 5–July 8: Beauty & The Beast
Presented by National Marionette Theatre
• July 10–15: Pinocchio
Presented by Lee Bryan, “That Puppet Guy”
• July 17–22: The New Adventures of Brer Rabbit
Presented by All Hands Productions

Each week, shows will take place Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The matinee performances on Wednesdays and Fridays will take place at a new time this year: 1:30 p.m. The Box Office and theater open a half hour prior to show time, and shows run approximately 45–60 minutes.

Individual show tickets will be $5/person for everyone ages 2 and up. Summer Passes are on sale now for $30 and include seven admissions for the price of six. Passes may be purchased online at, by calling (770) 594–6232, or in person at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center during business hours.

Daycares, summer camps, and scout troops are welcome and encouraged to call ahead to ensure seating. Reservations for groups of 10 or more may be made by calling (770) 594-6232.
