Register for Fall & Winter Rec Programs

Fall Winter BrochureRoswell Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department is offering a multitude of great programs and classes—from athletics to the arts, and from aquatics to adaptive programs—this fall and winter. Resident registration begins on Monday, July 24, at 9 a.m., and open registration begins on Monday, July 31, at 9 a.m.

Registration will be available 24 hours a day at www.roswellgov.com/registration. In-person registration will also be available, starting on the days noted above, at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The complete fall/winter brochure can also be viewed at www.roswellgov.com/registration.

Among the highlights of the upcoming season is that the Roswell Adult Aquatics Center (RAAC) is now open to participants age 25 and older. Previously, the RAAC was reserved for participants age 50 and older, but the change will allow opportunities for adults of all ability levels within this expanded age range to experience the five-lane warm-water therapeutic swimming pool that is the centerpiece of the state-of-the-art facility opened in 2016. The RAAC will now feature extended evening hours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, as well as new evening fitness classes.

The fall/winter brochure also lists upcoming special events at the City’s many artistic, cultural, and historic facilities, including the five-part “Makers in the Afternoon” series, free Riverside Sounds concerts, Halloween and December holiday events, and festivals, parades, and races.
