Fair Housing Resident Survey

The City of Roswell held a public meeting on February 6, 2017 to gather information for the City’s Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) Plan, which the City must submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. As a Federal Grantee, the City is required to affirmatively further fair housing. This City of Roswell’s AFH will analyze the local fair housing landscape and assess four (4) fair housing issues:
  • Patterns of integration and segregation;
  • Racially or ethnically concentrated areas of poverty;
  • Disparities in access to opportunity; and
  • Disproportionate housing needs.
As part of the planning process, the City is conducting a resident survey to identify Fair Housing issues. This confidential survey is available online below or in paper form in the Grants Division at City Hall through April 4, 2017. All interested residents and organizations are encouraged to complete the survey. Residents or organizations that were unable to attend the public meeting may submit written comments to Charles Alford, City of Roswell Grants Division, 38 Hill Street, Suite 115, Roswell, GA 30075 or to
