After Submitting an Application

Applications / resumes are forwarded to the appropriate department for review. Because the initial applicant screening is based on the completed application, it is very important to include all information requested. Applications can be accepted and reviewed only if they are signed and dated on the back page and are submitted with a signed Pre-Employment Drug Testing Consent and Release Form. Resumes are only accepted when submitted with a completed job application.

  • If selected for an interview, a hiring manager from the appropriate department will make contact.
  • General questions concerning an application may be addressed to 770-594-6440.

Additional information

  • Due to the number of resumes / applications received for each open position, the City will only respond to applicants personally interviewed for a particular position.
  • An application will remain on file until the position has been filled. If you are interested in future positions with the City of Roswell, another application will need to be completed.
