Winter Events in Roswell

Winter brings the end of the calendar, but starts a new kind of fun. Getting outside in our winter coats, hats and gloves brings a refreshing energy to our parks! We hope to see you on our trails, at one of our amazing shows or catching a basketball game in one of our gyms.

"Clarinda Speaks" The Life, Labor, and Destiny of a 19th Century Black Woman
Free at Smith Plantation

Using available records and knowledge, docents will share the story of Clarinda Richardson, a woman who began her life enslaved under the Smith family but lived through the Civil War and Emancipation to chart her own course.

Note, house tours are not included, but are available for an additional fee.
