No City tax dollars are used in this Gas South offer.
Special, customized rates also are available from Gas South for mid-size and large commercial customers in Roswell. "Roswell is recognized as one of the most livable and family-oriented cities in America, with innovative city leaders who have worked to make it a great place to live, work and play," said Kevin Greiner, CEO of Gas South. "As a hometown Georgia company, Gas South is proud to partner with the City of Roswell to offer these special discounted rates on natural gas."
Greiner said the partnership will benefit local residents and businesses, helping them stretch their utility dollars by getting optimal pricing. The partnership will also benefit the City of Roswell, which will receive funding from Gas South for each city resident and business that receives service from the company.
The partnership relationship is similar to several others that Gas South has formed with municipalities and electric membership corporations (EMCs) in Georgia to offer preferred natural gas rates. In addition to the City of Roswell, Gas South has similar programs with the cities of Acworth, College Park, Kennesaw, Marietta, Norcross and Woodstock, as well as with Central Georgia EMC, Cobb EMC, Greystone Power Corporation, Snapping Shoals EMC, Upson EMC and Washington EMC.
