Christmas Tree Lighting

Moved to Heart of Roswell Park for 2022!

The annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022, 6:00-9:00 PM, at Heart of Roswell Park at Canton Street and Elizabeth Way. This free, festive family event is moving from Town Square to Heart of Roswell Park this year, but you can expect all your favorite holiday highlights. Join us for choral performances, hot chocolate, fire pits and s’mores, a special reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Kurt Wilson, a visit from Santa Claus, and the culminating event: the lighting of a 40-foot tree at the center of Heart of Roswell park.

Canton Street between Norcross Street and Magnolia Street will be closed (similar to Alive in Roswell), creating a holiday atmosphere that extends into the downtown business district.
