Winter brings the end of the calendar, but starts a new kind of fun. Getting outside in our winter coats, hats and gloves brings a refreshing energy to our parks! We hope to see you on our trails, at one of our amazing shows or catching a basketball game in one of our gyms.Many events require pre-registration and/or have a program fee. All runners, walkers and even skippers are invited to join us for a jolly good time! Come dressed in your ugly holiday sweater or other festive attire. The fun run starts at 8:30 AM and is not a timed run. The 2.4k (1.5-mile) course is on the trail in Roswell Area Park. Start and finish by the picnic shelter at the pond in Roswell Area Park.
After the run, enjoy a hayride through the park and roasting marshmallows. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with Santa at the end of the run! Runners will receive a holiday race medal and supplies to make your favorite s'mores and hot chocolate.
