Winter brings the end of the calendar, but starts a new kind of fun. Getting outside in our winter coats, hats and gloves brings a refreshing energy to our parks! We hope to see you on our trails, at one of our amazing shows or catching a basketball game in one of our gyms.

Many events require pre-registration and/or have a program fee. Click on an event below to learn more.

Reflections on Slavery

Mimosa Hall Reflections on Slavery
Saturday, February 18, 1:00 PM & 2:30 PM

Free at Mimosa Hall

In this half-hour theatrical presentation, actor John Doyle portrays a man reflecting on the lives and experiences of the enslaved people of Roswell, from their shared history in coastal Georgia to their daily lives before, during, and after the Civil War. He touches on themes of the interconnected lives of all people in this small town and how enslaved people tried to maintain some agency over their own lives.
