File a New Police Report

To report a crime or incident such as losing a wallet or phone, stolen tag, etc., please do so using the Police2Citizen website. An officer will contact you by phone, finalize the report, and provide a report number.






Reporting a Financial Crime

If you have been the victim of a financial crime, please start by filing a police report. Once a police report number has been issued, please fill out and save the Financial Crimes Report Packet. A detective will give instructions on submitting the form.






Accident Reports

Vehicular accident reports are available for a fee of $5 and can be obtained through the Police2Citizen website using the "Accident Report Search".

Single Incident

To obtain a copy of a single incident report, contact us at policerecords@roswellgov.com. Please include case number if available. We will respond within three business days.

Multiple Incidents (Police Open Records Request)

If your request is related to multiple incidents, you must submit a Police Open Records Request.

Incident Search by Location

The Police2Citizen website can be used to search for incident records surrounding a known address or business location within a specified date range using the "Event Search".






Criminal History Reports

  • Applications: Anyone wanting to submit a request for a criminal history report must apply in-person at 39 Hill Street, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.



  • Pick-Up: Schedule an appointment two business day after submitting all paperwork at www.RoswellGov.com/Appointment.



  • Requirements: A current driver's license or current government-issued picture identification must be presented at the time the application is filed and when history is picked up. A $20 fee must also be paid at the time of pickup by cash or credit card (preferred).

The Georgia Open Records Act makes most basic initial incident reports available to the general public. Multiple reports or other information included in a report/investigation must be requested in writing and certain fees may apply. Please be advised that certain records are not releasable under Open Records due to cases being Active/Pending Investigation/Pending Prosecution or incidents with juveniles involved.
