Public Information Officer
The Public Information Officer is the primary point of contact between the news media and the Roswell Police Department. The PIO provides regular and up-to-date information on all aspects of the Police Department.

The Community Relations Unit provides a positive link between the Roswell Police Department and the Roswell Community. The Community Relations Unit organizes and presents a wide variety of specialized programs for people of all ages; from school children to senior citizens. The Community Relations Unit's participation and organization for numerous special events, targeted education programs, and involvement in information sharing platforms has created a strong partnership with the local schools, businesses, and other community/civic groups.
The Roswell Police Department invites residents of Roswell, along with Roswell business owners, to attend the Citizens' Police Academy. This free program is designed to introduce members of the public to various functions of police work.
The Roswell Police Department offers an excellent opportunity for local high school students and college students interested in Criminal Justice-related degrees. The program can be individually tailored for each student depending on their needs but the intern will have the opportunity to spend time with Uniform Patrol, the Criminal Investigations Division, the 911 Center, the Property/Evidence Unit, Records, Municipal Court, and the Traffic Enforcement Unit.
