    Nantahala Outdoor Center offers high-quality craft and equipment rentals for any number of river adventures including tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, biking, and stand up paddleboarding. Whether you are looking for a relaxing float, an intense workout, or just to explore, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Chattahoochee River.

  • Park Rx


    The Park RX program is increasing active programming and events for those who play, live and learn in the Roswell Community. The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department is offering health and wellness providers with a new way to inspire patients to improve their health. Park Rx aims to increase positive changes in behavior and attitudes towards health improvement through the prescription of nature to increase physical activity and nutrition education.   • Hikes Hosted by Atlanta Outdoor Club


    The Atlanta Outdoor Club is a friendly outdoor social club, with hundreds of events each year. Hiking, biking, running, backpacking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, volunteering, and more. Sign up for free membership at www.AtlantaOutdoorClub.com and register for weekly events.
  • Free Fitness in the Park


    Join us for our free group exercise classes with Fitness in the Park! Bring your yoga mat, your water bottle and your friends, meet us on Saturday mornings in the park. Upcoming Fitness in the Park events are listed on Roswell365.

    Classes are open to the public and weather-permitting. Please check the the Weather Hotline for any cancellations or updates.
  • Walk with a Doc


    Walk with a Doc is a free walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You'll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It's a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance. No registration necessary, unless otherwise indicated.
